The moment should the outstanding wedding speech be presented…?

How weddings have changed on the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight bridal party members; an easy wedding car to expensive and large wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; 1-3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

Speaking of aforementioned, wedding speeches are nevertheless an important part of a marriage and guests do look forward to hearing them, discussing them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.

We are all aware of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, through the meal and after your food, however it is of an strong opinion the groom speech must be delivered following your meal. I understand that for most marriage ceremony speakers i.e. Father of the Bride Speech, Father with the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the five main speakers), they’d want to have the wedding speeches prior to the meal, so they can enjoy their meal (a lot of them are paying for it!). However, all is here the invited guests and the way many (as wll as wedding ceremony venue staff) would rather the wedding speeches to become delivered following the meal for many reasons, a few of which include:

The invited guests have been fed and watered and are not hearing wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which will be prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival on the wedding venue)
Food can be cooked and served at the agreed time (introduce the wedding speeches before the meal as well as their could be a delay of A quarter-hour one.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy attempting to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches act as the transition from your meal towards the dancing (without a penny happening after the meal, everyone is expecting ‘a few words’ to become shared regarding the Bride & Groom then they do know they are able to wake up, move around, have a break, go for a walk, visit the bar…)
It can be hard for folks with the Bride & Groom to talk in public places, as most of them wouldn’t be used from it. So, they might, when they so wished, speak prior to / their meal.

There should always be some form of formal wedding speech(es) as soon as the meal…
