A program In Miracles teaches that is God’s holy child. We’re all equal. Even Jesus is our equal. ACIM teaches how the physical world we appear to be in wasn’t developed by God, but can be an illusion of your making. It’s a manifestation of our false belief in separation. It’s literally a fantasy were dreaming. Our obligation, while within physical reality, would be to accept this and discover how you can prepare ourselves to awaken to our Reality which is the Christ. Training In Miracles teaches us that you’ve a Voice for God inside our minds that is always actually talking to us, telling us that we’re: unlimited, one wonderful life, eternal, and literally invulnerable. That Voice could be the Holy Spirit. There exists another voice inside our minds that people made up that lies to all of us and informs us we have been: limited, separate, mortal, and vulnerable. That voice is the ego. A principal focus of ACIM is always to teach us the best way to tell those two voices apart. Even as do this we’ve got to choose to listen to the Holy Spirit and trust the Holy Spirit’s counsel. We’re going to always hear the voice of the ego while here in the dream but we should not accept it’s guidance or counsel about anything. ACIM is not in regards to the death from the ego, but how to relate to it.
Because we are in fact dreaming the physical world and everything in it, our many siblings are members of that dream too. These are behaving in the same way we now have asked these to. As such, having grievances about them is having a grievance about ourselves. Whenever we hold grievances we attack ourselves and we feel: weak, vulnerable and possess pain accordingly. An important part of the ACIM teaching is learning how to let go of each of our grievances. We do this with a practice of “complete forgiveness” which is completely different from what is usually called forgiveness in the world. Complete forgiveness starts by our understanding that whatever is taking place, we’ve called for. Only then do we offer up our perceptions and thoughts about view of the grievance to the Holy Spirit and ask for a new perception obtain us. After the Holy Spirit provides for us this new perception we must choose it as ours. This is how grievances are truly let go. Since our brothers and sisters bring us these forgiveness lessons, our relationships have been our salvation. When not bringing us forgiveness and grievance lessons, are siblings impart us with opportunities to celebrate our joy and our eternal nature, thus strengthening our belief within them. ACIM usually salvation through relationships.
A training course In Miracles has a strong focus on healing. We heal by recognizing the eternal Spirit in ourselves and in all of our siblings. We let Holy Spirit guide us as to what to accomplish inside the physical world to manifest the healing of ourselves while others. Frequently this spiritual healing produces shifts from the appearance of physical reality – such as shifts inside the appearance with the health or sickness individuals body and the bodies of others. Sometimes this spiritual healing doesn’t produce such shifts in appearance. Were required to have confidence in the reality of the healing whatever the appearance of “symptoms.” The “miracle” may be the mental shift in perception. It frequently has observable effects and not always.
A program In Miracles teaches us to be patient with our spiritual recovery process and not to evaluate it in any way. We’ve got absolutely no way of understanding how far along we are on the path.
