When Jesus came and brought the gospel of Christianity it was welcomed by the masses as exceptionally nice thing about it. Thousands followed him to hear the text of life he spoke. After he was crucified, his disciples continued preaching and teaching his ways and so they were likewise welcomed because bringers of good news.
Of course not citizens were thrilled as of this new teaching. The established religion of the day opposed it violently, even putting many to death for preaching the language of God. They whipped, beat, imprisoned and crucified many who chose to follow or teach the modern gospel. But in spite of the suffering inflicted, they couldn’t destroy this teaching or halt multiplication on this good news.

Just watch the night news or grab a newspaper and you may understand the sin and evil rampant these days which has man in its grip. It’s tremendously stressful to determine or read this stuff. Pressure and tension build until most of the people get to the point where they wish it could all disappear or they could escape the tension.
To be sold using this stress would truly be not merely good news, but Nice thing about it. And that is precisely what Jesus and his disciples offered within their teachings, and why the folks flocked to hear these words in the good news from the gospel of Christ.
The truth with the Gospel is about freedom, and it’s also on the market today just like it had been during this time. The good thing with the gospel offers freedom from bondage, freedom from sin, freedom from stress and freedom coming from all the pressures of the world. Of course, if you might have freedom from these there is a something this world cannot share with you… peace.
For many who get the truth from the gospel it has an inner peace, that will come from knowing Jesus and applying his teachings in your own life.
