Remember when rediscovering the reassurance of school meant purchasing a few notebooks, a brand new box of crayons, and new shoes? Should you wore a uniform to college, you probably got one particular too; if not, you got a couple of new outfits. That has been it.
Well, times have changed. The availability list now contains things that used to be given by the faculties – like scissors, glue and tissues. Every child requires a new backpack, notebooks, paper, pens (red, blue and black), glue sticks, ruler, tape, scissors, markers, folders and a calculator. For those who have two children so you shop the sales, you can still end up coughing up more than $100.00 in supplies alone. Which doesn’t even count the newest clothes your child “has to have” or fees which might be essential for art projects, lab costs, etc.
Don’t even get me going on the supplies, including furniture and appliances, your youngster needs for faculty. Does it ever end?
Here are some tips to save cash oil paint this coming year.
1) Recycle – Determine that which you curently have in the home. You probably have assorted crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc. lying around your home. Put these together in a pencil box and will help you save a couple of dollars.
2) Re-use – Kids think that last year’s backpack has to go, but a quick trip from the washer might give it new life.
3) Reduce – Does your son or daughter have a very notebook from a year ago which includes three pages of written material in it and 77 blank pages left? Have you find this notebook within the trash can – or worse – the trash? Now could be a fun time to discuss waste and keeping it as small as possible by getting the most use possible out of every item.
