On simply hearing the name, Bali evokes visions of tropical paradises. Writers keep inventing adjectives to describe Bali but few can surpass what of Indian prime minister Pandit Nehru who named this tropical isle “the morning from the world”. A world born out of the sea, delivered through the strength of volcanic force. There exists a deep world, your global within, the morning around the globe, a complete different world owed to Bali. A blue realm of tranquility, of stillness, a world that permits you to your investment world…
As Indonesia’s most famous tourist destination Bali has stayed a somewhat underestimated diving destination. To imagine this would be an oversight.
If you dive Bali so as to the variety of Bali’s reefs are awesome. When getting started Bali, allow yourself to be very impressed. Manta Point diving Bali as well as the neighboring island of Nusa Lembongan offer several of the best Bali diving. Nusa Penida can be a large island found in the southeast of Bali, across the Badung Strait. The Balinese consider this dry, rough island being haunted, yet it’s the diving for this Island of Bali, in it’s clear, current swept reefs this is the main attraction.
With its adjacent deepwater trenches, the main attraction at Nusa Penida may be the common encounters using the curious and otherwise unusual oceanic sunfish, or Mola Mola, that come towards the reef to check out cleaner stations.
There’s a great many dive sites from which to choose. In the season we can easily look for the illustrious Mola Mola, but the heartland of Nusa Penida diving offers stunning visibility, healthy reefs, and pelagics. So you won’t even need to swim a whole lot here, as nearly all dive is often a drift dive.
Currents in many cases are strong as the islands lie in the path of the Indonesian Throughflow. The Lombok Strait separates the Indonesian islands of Bali and Lombok, it’s the second most critical strait through which water is exchanged involving the Ocean along with the Indian Ocean. The best times to dive Nusa Penida are if the tides peak at slack and, when water movement will be the least.
